All on campus IT services will experience several intermittent outages of around 15 minutes duration, between 2 and 8pm Saturday 12th, and 2 to 6pm Sunday 13th May. Save your work frequently to minimise the risk of losing data. Accessing cloud based services such as Moodle, Office 365 and Library systems from off campus, should be unaffected. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Don't be stung with a fine... be sure to clearly display your 2018 parking sticker(external link), park in marked bays only and avoid disability spaces unless you're eligible. Please ensure you are familiar with the NMIT car parking rules indicated on the signage in all of our campus car parks. Student parking permits can be collected from Info & Enrolments A block, or the LLC Helpdesk: both require car registration information.
We appreciate finding a space can be difficult some days (especially when you're running late!) but do yourself a favour and stick to the rules (stated on car park entry signs) to avoid penalties!
From Tue 13th Feb, all previous ‘nmifi’ wireless network users will need to reconnect your device and enter your NMIT username & password. The network now protects you more and you only need to reconnect once a year per device, or when you change your password. Just follow the prompts given, which will differ slightly for Windows, Android & Apple, and are slightly changed from previous methods. More help can be found at Connecting to Wifi(external link) Technology FAQs on our main website.
