Car parking and Campus maps

Information about our campus and where to park your car.

Nelson Campus

Visitor parking

If you are visiting the Nelson Campus for a short period of time then you are welcome to park in the visitor car spaces located outside the main entrance on Hardy Street.

Student parking

Please ensure you provide your student ID number and licence plate details.

If you are a Nelson Campus learner, you need to ensure that you provide us with your licence plate details to park onsite between 8am and 4.30pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday).  We will be entering your details directly onto the Parking Enforcement Services website.

Please email enrolments@nmit.ac.nz with your student ID number and your licence plate details once your enrolment is complete.

Learners studying night classes do not need to provide licence plate details (onsite car parks are not monitored after 4.30pm).

Learners studying on day/block courses will need to email enrolments@nmit.ac.nz with their student ID number and licence plate details once your enrolment is complete.

Please note that the dates will be specified on the Parking Enforcement Services website and will match the start and end date of your enrolment.

Standard parking rules apply and these are displayed on nearby signs. One vehicle per learner.

If you take a different car and plan on parking onsite, please email enrolments@nmit.ac.nz with your licence plate details to avoid a parking breach notice ($85.00 parking fine).

The location of the onsite car parks is shown on the campus map below.

Marlborough Campus

If you're a student, you can park your car in the campus car parks.

The location of car parks on campus is shown on the Marlborough Campus map.
