NMIT Summer hours

As we head into the summer months, access to our NMIT sites and services will be changing. Have a read below to stay in the know about where and when you can access NMIT campuses during the summer months.

Annual closedown

All campuses will be closed between 20 December and 5 January. During this time, you will not be able to access the spaces that are usually available to you via your swipe card. This includes after-hours spaces such as the Fishbowl and the A Block Computer Labs. During this time, access to support services and NMIT staff will not be available.

Library Summer hours

From 8 December, the Library at Nelson Campus will be open from 8.30 am – 4 pm. The fishbowl will remain open for regular operating hours from 7 am to 10 pm.

From 11 December to 12 January, the Library at Nelson Campus will be closed for renovations.

The fishbowl will remain open, except for a brief period between 17 December and 6 January, to be announced.

A216 and A217 will be available for after-hours study via swipe card (entrance through the A Block Carpark) per normal.
