The Learner Success Team will help you settle into life and study in New Zealand and can be found at the Nelson and Marlborough campus libraries.

Talk with the team about:

finding accommodation
financing and budgeting
homesickness and culture shock
arranging doctor's visits
insurance claims
resubmissions, reconsiderations, and special assessments
any other support needs you may have

International Student Activities

SANITI, in partnership with NMIT, hosts a range of free activities throughout the year for NMIT international students so you can meet fellow students and make new friends. The events are a great chance to learn about 'Kiwi culture' and see what the Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough regions have to offer. International Student get-togethers

Twice per term, International Students get together with support staff and community partners on our Nelson Campus and on the Marlborough campus. These gatherings are a great way to meet each other, learn about upcoming events, give feedback, and let us know what we can provide to best support you. International Student enrolment support

The International Enrolments team take care of all your enrolment needs. They will help you with course applications, enrolments, withdrawals, transfers and refunds, visa applications and arranging medical or travel insurance.
