Becoming a buddy is a rewarding way to support a new learner while building your own leadership, communication and intercultural skills.

For new learners, being matched with a peer buddy builds strong foundations for your learning journey, with a friendly, personalised introduction to student life at NMIT.

Please note: The NMIT Buddy Programme is open to all students. As this is a new programme, international students will be given priority for matching in the first instance.
