Our counselling sessions offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to talk about whatever is affecting you, from study pressure, stress and low mood to relationships, finances, housing or life changes.
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Our Manaaki Tauira are senior counselling students, supervised by qualified counselling professionals, who are here to listen, support and focus on what matters to you.

Meet in person on campus, online or by phone.
3. Talk with a Student Counsellor
You'll meet with a senior NMIT counselling student who is supported and supervised by qualified counselling professionals.
