Located on the NMIT Nelson Campus, just a few minutes walk from the city center, these serviced apartments are ideal for independent living alongside other students in a secure, modern, and study-friendly apartment.
With 42 apartments in three blocks, you can live in a single bedroom or share a two, three or four-bedroom apartment.

Please note: Bookings must be made directly with Nikau Apartments. While it is located on-campus, bookings cannot be made by NMIT.
Host Families NZ - homestay accommodation
Homestay boarding provides a unique opportunity to live in a furnished room with a local New Zealand family in Nelson or Marlborough. It is a great way to settle in a new city, country, or even a new environment if this is your first time living away from home.
Homestay is a popular choice for international students, especially those interested in improving their English at home or getting to know a new culture.
Host Families NZ provides homestay placements with Kiwi families for young or mature students. They ensure students (both domestic and international) live in a warm, comfortable, safe, enjoyable, and enriching family environment. Options include full-board, half-board, or without meals.
