Most NMIT graduates will need to wear regalia to cross the stage. Find out about reserving, paying for, picking up, and returning your regalia.

When you complete your 'Tell us your graduation plans' form, you'll automatically be advised of what regalia you need to order, if any, as relevant to your qualification.

To ensure your regalia is ready in time for the big day, please complete the relevant form for your qualification type by 5pm, Friday 30 October.

Regalia hire conditions

By reserving and paying for your regalia, you confirm you agree to our regalia hire conditions:

  • You must return your regalia on the day of the ceremony. 
  • Damage/late return costs: You may incur extra costs if regalia is returned late, wet or damaged.
  • Non-return - full cost: You are responsible for returning your regalia and may be charged the full replacement cost if it is not returned.
  • Regalia refunds: If you cannot attend and advise us before the ceremony, or if the ceremony is cancelled, we will provide a full refund.
