If you need support, you can talk to your tutor, your student representatives, SANITI the student association, or any of the NMIT student support services. They will help you or connect you with someone who can.
We work with you to identify your preferred ways of learning and any potential barriers that may hinder your study, so you can get the most from your time at NMIT.

Nelson Tasman Pasifika Community Trust is working alongside NMIT to ensure that all Pasifika students are well supported and have the best experience as learners.
The Equity Support Team ensures that students with learning difficulties, medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, and/or impairments receive support to achieve their goals.
The Wellbeing Support Team work collaboratively with domestic, international, and offshore online students to ensure students have healthy, safe, supportive, and inclusive learning experiences and environments.
All enrolled students at NMIT are members of SANITI and are entitled to representation and services provided by the Association.

The Library provides specialist services, collections and facilities to support your learning and research needs.
International students can access all the support services provided by the Learner Services team and their partners, and more.
